This qualification is aimed at those who wish to gain a full Bachelor’s degree, possibly upgrading from another previous achievement, e.g. Foundation degree.
Delivered both online and offline via distance learning, which is particularly suited for seafaring and offshore students, the BSc (Hons) degree programme will provide opportunities to those with professional experience, an academic interest in marine and maritime operations or maritime sustainability and provide the opportunity to enhance their career within the marine or maritime industry whilst considering a move ashore.
Studying the BSc (Hons), you will gain knowledge of the latest methods, concepts and theories relevant to the complexities of the maritime industry in the modern 21st Century and equipping you with a broad understanding of the challenges of current marine affairs. You will develop skills in gathering, analysing, evaluating, and interpreting data in sustainable maritime operations.
