The programme targets professionals and aspiring project leaders across various sectors, including construction, architecture, engineering, technology, IT, business, management, and public administration. The programme equips students with strong competencies in project planning, execution, risk and quality management, sustainability, and leadership in complex environments. Through eight taught modules and a dissertation, learners develop a comprehensive understanding of modern project management principles.

The joint MSc in Project Management is designed for aspiring project leaders, providing advanced knowledge and skills in project management, innovative techniques, value creation, and sustainability, to prepare graduates for leadership roles across public and private sector organisations.

The modules are jointly delivered by BUiD and the University of Leeds using a block teaching format scheduled on weekends (Saturday and Sunday), in-person programme with limited online academic support activities that complement the face-to-face teaching. Students engage with one module at a time, promoting deep, focused learning. Each teaching block spans two weekends, with in-person instruction delivered over two consecutive days per weekend. To ensure a balanced, manageable learning experience, each teaching day is limited to 7.5 hours.

Graduates completing this MSc programme will be well-equipped to take on high-impact roles, pursue international opportunities, and acquire leadership positions in today’s fast-paced, project-driven industries.
