MBA (ODL) offers flexibility of studying for the working adults. Balancing work responsibilities that are usually busy and hectic, studying through online distance learning mode allows the students to study at their own pace and manage their own timing to achieve the end result. Our MBA (ODL) adapted from Universiti Geomatika Malaysia fully accredited MBA and designed to suit the online mode learning.

At the end of the programme, you will be:

• Able to apply business knowledge and skills in mapping an organization
• Able to analyze and suggest courses of action for business decisions
• Able to manage data and information as well as to communicate effectively in writing and in organizational communications
• Able to identify and assess managerial challenges and opportunities
• Able to provide strategic perspectives to address the complexity of managing business organizations for the benefit of business development

• A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 accepted by the Senate: OR
• A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting CGPA of 2.50, and A minimum, and A minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience and Pass the evaluation on personal statement demonstrating knowledge, skills, experience and achievement related to the programme; OR
• A Master’s degree (Level 7, MQF) as accepted by the Senate; OR
• Other equivalent/related qualifications to a Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) recognised by the Malaysian Government; OR
• Accreditation of Prior Experiential learning (APEL)

Additional requirement for entry qualification in non-related field:

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience and pass the evaluation on personal statement demonstrating knowledge, skills, experience, and achievement related to the programme; OR
• Pass additional pre-requisite courses

English proficiency requirement:

Achieve a minimum Band 4 MUET; OR IELTS Band 6; OR TOEFL iBT score of 6.0 (equivalent to CEFR Mid B2)

Additional internal reference: Related fields for MBA, MBA ODL, DBA, PhD (Management) are:

• Business and Management including sub-fields (e.g. Marketing, Entrepreneurship)
• Accounting and Finance
• Economics
• Muamalat
• Other industry management qualification (e.g. hospitality management, plantation management) subject to the Student Admission Committee’s approval.

Additional pre-requisite subjects for entry qualification not related to the programmes:

• Principles of Management
• Principles of Marketing
• Financial Management
• Human Resource Management

Pre-requisite subjects may be replaced with other subjects within the same body of knowledge.

Evaluation on personal statement to compensate for CGPA or nonrelated fields do not stack over each other. The same evaluation satisfies both requirements.
