Sometimes it is difficult to match your skills and experiences to what we would normally expect of a student entering an undergraduate programme. This is because with such a diverse student body, with such a range of life choices, it is not always easy to see whether students and MLA College are a good match for each other.
Our responsibility is to ensure that you are in the best academic shape possible in order to succeed on our undergraduate Programme. At the same time, you may feel a bit nervous at taking distance learning in a subject you might not have a lot of academic experience in but are motivated to study. In all these cases, MLA College’s Access to Sustainability course could be just what you need to prove to everyone you are able to take your studies to that next step, and experience learning at distance for the first time.
Concentrating on the Nine Planetary Boundaries, we will introduce you to these concepts, encourage you to explore these ideas further yourself, and test your academic skills, helping both you and MLA College to identify your readiness to succeed.
Degree: Global Sustainable Development Access Course

Awarding Body: MLA College

Whilst we deliver our programmes from a distance, that doesn’t mean we expect you to achieve everything without a friendly voice to guide you. Our expert team of academics are on hand to support you throughout your studies, whenever you need them the most.
Your MLA College Student Experience team, Abigail White and Charlie Vosper, are the first point of contact for enrolled students who are in need of pastoral support, including requests under the Extenuating Circumstances policy for matters related to their academic studies. Abigail and Charlie are also responsible for monitoring student engagement and academic progression and will contact students directly to offer assistance should they feel that intervention is needed.
